The active ingredient in ESTRACE® (17b-estradiol) is derived from soybeans and is structurally identical to the estradiol produced by the human ovary.
Estradiol is the major estrogenic hormone secreted in humans. ESTRACE® tablets are indicated for the symptomatic relief of menopausal symptoms. ESTRACE® provided relief of hot flashes in 95.6% of women at doses of 1 to 4 mg/day (n=369)*.
